Playing with Linear Gradients

This website is meant to act as a showcase of my projects, and this is one of them! I created this website mostly in a day, with some intial help from the odd LLM. However, when I was deciding what to do as a background, I started messing around with Linear Gradients, and at around 2am, I stumbled upon the idea of layering these partially transparent gradients together at different rotations, leading to the thorny looking background you see here, which is just a tiling of 4 tiny gradients that form little triangles, alonside some smart colour choices and positioning. I actually spent a few hours trying out different patterns, and in the end I decided that I would add a toy on the website just to appreciate some of the cool patterns you can make, and let you mess around with all the numbers! Enjoy!

Use the following buttons and sliders to have fun with the background! Animations are disabled on this page. Click here to just stare at the animation!
