I'm Adrian, a PhD student with the CHART research group at the University of Nottingham.
I'm interested in all things robotic, especially anything that brings robots closer to people! This includes robotic system design, real-time data fusion, and most importantly, robot/machine learning. Right now my research focuses on multimodal applications of Learning from Demonstration (LfD), using methods to allow robots to learn from humans, making working alongside robots more intuitive and easy for people. I'm applying this research to Self Driving Laboratories (SDLs) and chemistry, to accelerate the speed of lab-based research (Like materials & chemistry).
Beyond my research interests, I'm an active member of HackSoc and also oversee the Nottingham RoboNotts Robotics Team after having led it for 2 years. I'm a huge fan of hackathons, and I've bashed hardware together all over the UK, winning a few prizes here and there! (Check out the Hackathons tab to look at my projects!). Aside from computers and robots, my other hobbies are playing heavy board games, cooking, and of course the 600 hour factorio save...
